TRAVERSE CITY – The Traverse City Christian bowling team has seen a lot of success over the last four years.

They’ve seen a lot of that success due to two of their seniors, Hunter Haldaman and Jeremy Hansen.

The two are now taking their talents to Cornerstone.

Both visited the college when they were sophomores and were interested right away.

“Their Christian environment is what drew me in,” said Hansen. “I’ve been wanting to go for Biblical Studies for awhile now and I really liked their program and it really stuck out to me in that way. Just the opportunity not only to go to my dream school, but the opportunity to bowl there is such an honor and such a privilege.”

Haldaman had looked at a few other colleges, looking to continue bowling, but Cornerstone stuck out to him.

“Their bowling team has been pretty successful the past few years, and they’ve really seen something in me and pursued me and that’s been something that is so special over the years,” said Haldaman. “Building that relationship with the coach and then taking a few more college visits in different states, and I just kept coming back to Cornerstone and they just stood out among the rest.”

Hansen will be majoring in Biblical Studies and Haldaman is still undecided on a major.
