The Salvation Army in Traverse City re-opened their thrift store Friday.
The store and donation center on West South Airport Road was shut down back in July due to staff shortages.
The Salvation Army says that they aren’t fully staffed yet, but they hope they will be able to stay open.
The money raised at the store helps local families and the Salvation Army says they need more help this holiday season.
“Its been amazing we’ve received many calls on when are you opening up again or how can I continue to donate and those are things that we’ve continued to field and were happy to say were open,” Lt. Matthew Winters, Salvation Army Traverse City, said.
The Salvation Army says there are still positions they are looking to fill and encourage anyone looking for a job to apply.
