REED CITY – Tri-County defeated Reed City 3-2 in a CSAA-Gold conference matchup in girls soccer on Monday night.
The Vikings took the first lead of the night off a goal from Allison Johnson. May Shepherd added to the Tri-County lead to make it 2-0 and then later 3-1 with her second score of the night.
With the win, Tri-County moves to 2-1 overall and 1-0 in conference play. The Vikings are scheduled to face Grant next Monday, April 25.
Reed City suffers its first loss of the year falling to 3-1, 1-1. The Coyotes will look to rebound against Newaygo on Wednesday.
