ST. IGNACE – The St. Ignace Saints prevailed 65-60 over visiting Rudyard on Tuesday night in the Straits Area Conference opener.
The Saints improve to 2-0 on the season with the win. Both of their wins have come by five points as St. Ignace beat Boyne City 79-74 in overtime last week. St. Ignace will play at Cheboygan in its next game on Thursday.
This was the season opener for Rudyard. The Bulldogs will host Engadine on Thursday.
