Big screens and football games, they go hand in hand.

And it doesn’t get much better than the screen at the State Theater in Traverse City.

On Saturday, you can watch the University of Michigan take on Texas Christian University during the Fiesta Bowl on one of the biggest screens around.

This is the first live game at the State Theater since before the COVID pandemic, and they’re expecting to fill the seats.

“We have a state of the art sound and lighting system. We have a 50 foot screen. So it’s going to be like you’re there at the game, but you’re going to be in Michigan. Custom seating. They’re beautiful, they’re comfortable, and you’re not going to be freezing and you’re going to have a lot of fun sitting there eating, having fun, cheering on your team and comfort,” Angie Forton, the Executive Director for the State Theater, says.

Admission is free and doors will open at 3 p.m.
